Nursing Staff

Our goal in the SY Jackson Health Office is to minimize the amount of school your child misses due to illness, chronic conditions such as diabetes or asthma, or injury.

Who are we?

Lynne Thomas BSN, RN is the school nurse at SY Jackson. Lynne has been a school nurse for 6 years and an RN for 17 years. She is happy to be part of the SY Jackson community.

Erika Bernardone has been the Health Assistant at SY Jackson for 13 years! She knows and can name almost every kid in the school, she even knows many of the parents. She is invested in this community and her own two kids even went to SY Jackson. Your kids are in great care when they come to visit "Ms. Erika" in the Health Office.

A few things to remember...

...We will call you every time your child visits our office.

...If your child is sick, please keep them home until they have been fever free for 24 hours without medication.

...Notify us if your child needs to take any medication while at school. This includes inhalers, Epi-Pens, ibuprofen, etc.

...We will ask you to pick up your child if they have a fever, are actively vomiting or if they have diarrhea.
