Math Tutors Needed!

Math Masters is SY Jackson's program for 3rd to 5th graders whose math skills are below grade-level.

Each teacher picks several students from their class to be pulled out to work with a math volunteer for 30 minutes a week.

The goal of the Math Masters program is match students with volunteers who can guide them through math problems so they may improve their skills and confidence in mathematics.

You don't need to have a child in 3rd – 5th grade to be a volunteer.  This can be a great way for K – 2nd grade parents to become familiar with the math and the teachers that your child will have in the future!
