Welcome to SYJ PTA!
Now it’s easier than ever to become a volunteer with the Albuquerque Public Schools thanks to a new online application process. Simply go to www.aps.edu/volunteer-with-aps, fill out the application and pay the $12 processing fee (credit and debit cards accepted). Those who pass the background check will be able to start volunteering within 10 business days.
For those who don’t have access to computers, you can go to the APS administrative offices at 6400 Uptown Blvd. NE to fill out the volunteer application.
Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas including:
Tutoring
Mentoring
Classroom read alouds
Guest speaking
Classroom assistance
Non-classroom assistance (field trips, media center, site beautification)
Organization involvement (PTA)
Before-and after-school programs

Membership is only $6.00 for the 2019-2020 school year. You can now register online or just download our form and return to the Front Office.
